I am a German painter currently based in London, UK.

My paintings explore emotional and sensory experiences that feel shared across bodies, environments, and species. I am interested in moments when perception becomes heightened and the boundary between individual consciousness and a larger collective field begins to dissolve.

 

Working between intention and chance, I begin by pouring diluted acrylic directly onto raw linen, allowing colour, gravity, and material behaviour to generate shifting terrains and atmospheric structures that cannot be entirely predetermined. These unstable surfaces become the foundation for paintings in which human figures, animals, and fragments of landscape gradually emerge through layers of oil paint. Rather than imposing images onto a fixed ground, I allow forms to surface through an ongoing dialogue between control and unpredictability.

 

My paintings often take the form of dream-like scenes in which human and non-human presences inhabit fluid environments that exist somewhere between landscape, memory, and imagination. Drawing from psychology, ecology, mythology, and sacred traditions, I explore themes of instinct, transformation, collectivity, and the emotional relationships that connect living beings across different forms of existence.
